Why we built this

AI answers are quietly becoming the new front page — and most brands can't see how they show up in them.

ChatGPT alone reached roughly 900 million weekly users in early 2026, and Google now shows an AI Overview on an estimated 48% of searches. Increasingly, the recommendation a customer acts on was written by a model, not a search results page — and most brands have no way to see whether they were even considered.

Agencies feel this first, and so do multi-location and multi-brand companies. It's one thing to tell a client or a CMO their AI visibility improved; it's another to show the runs, the citations, and the trend. We built DabaRankbecause measurement has to come before optimization — you can't improve what you can't see, and you can't prove what you can't measure.

    We report what our runs actually show, not what makes a better sales pitch. If a client isn't showing up in AI answers yet, the dashboard says so plainly.

    Third-party citations are the reality

    An estimated 91% of AI citations come from sources a brand doesn't own — reviews, directories, and third-party articles, not the brand's own site (source). We track those sources directly instead of pretending owned content is enough.

    Built for portfolios

    Multi-brand portfolios, team seats, and white-label reports are core to the product, not an add-on — because the people who need this are managing many brands at once, whether that's an agency's clients or a company's own locations and brands.
